Joyce Briggs was the founder and driving force behind the Alliance for Contraception in Cats (ACC), a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the overpopulation of cats through the promotion of accessible and affordable contraception options.
As a lifelong animal lover and advocate, Joyce was deeply troubled by the staggering number of homeless and feral cats in her community.
